Stephanie started her animal career at a young age, working her first job at a pet store in Morgantown, WV. She graduated from WVU with a BS in Wildlife Biology in May 2017. During her time in college and afterwards, she volunteered at wildlife rehabilitation centers and interned at the Nashville Zoo.
After graduating she traveled working temporary field assistant jobs in Chattanooga, TN with Tree Swallows, Sullivan, Illinois with Ospreys, and Yukon, Canada with Red Squirrels. After travelling, she was a Zookeeper for 6 years and her favorite animals to work with are big cats, bears, and red pandas.
Stephanie joined the AVS team in February of 2026 to continue her love of assisting animals and clients with their care. In her spare time, Stephanie likes to train her three pets for fun tricks and behaviors. She has a Pitbull named Roger and two cats who are brothers, named Goose and Turtle. All three are rescues as well. She also likes to play video games, spend time outside in anyway, and make stained glass art which she learned how to do from her grandmother.
