Meet Dr. Kayla Gamble!
Dr. Kayla graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and double minors in Chemistry and Environmental Science. She continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate in 2026. Dr. Kayla officially began her career in veterinary medicine at the age of 17 when her cat, Moe, experienced a life-threatening urinary blockage. Dr. Kayla had always known that her dream was to become a veterinarian, and she jumped at the opportunity to begin working in the field after witnessing the compassionate care and dedication needed to save Moe’s life. Dr. Kayla holds a special interest in feline medicine, of which she especially enjoys working with cats with urinary and kidney disease. She also enjoys working with exotic companion animals. Dr. Kayla has 8 cats, 2 rabbits, and a dog at home who never fail to keep things interesting. In her free time, Dr. Kayla enjoys performing TNR (trap-neuter-return) work for community cats, as well as hiking, kayaking, and rafting.
