Dr. Scheffel is from Bruceton Mills, WV and a recent graduate from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. Her dual degree training reflects a strong commitment to both animal and community health. Dr. Scheffel is especially interested in preventive medicine, client education, surgery, and helping pet owners feel empowered and informed when it comes to their pets’ well-being. Outside of the clinic, she has a passion for any outdoor activity, especially running with her dog TJ.
